Cubs Club is Hamlin’s day camp for incoming Kindergarteners, designed specifically to ease the transition into their new school. Campers will spend their days making art, playing group games, exploring the outdoors, and having a BLAST in the new McKinne building! Throughout this valuable week-long program, campers will acclimate to the school campus, develop new friendships, and become familiar with the Hamlin community. After a full week of enrichment and enjoyment spent alongside peers and mentors, campers will leave feeling confident about starting Kindergarten as a Hamlin girl.

Cubs Club will take place on our newly renovated McKinne campus at 2129 Vallejo from 9:00am - 3:30pm daily.  Included is a free morning care from 8:00 am - 9:00am, and there is an extended day program from 3:30pm - 5:00pm for an additional $15 per day. 

Week 1: July 18 - July 22, 2022

Week 2: July 25 - July 29, 2022

This year, families are invited to sign up for either the first or second week of Cubs Club. Once everyone has had an opportunity to enroll in one week, any remaining spots will be opened on a first come, first served basis for families who wish to enroll in both. 

 

 

Cubs Club focuses on introducing the Incoming Kindergartners to not only the new school, but also each other. Although the content of each day will be new and different, camp will follow this basic schedule:

8:00 - 9:00   Flexible drop-off and free choice play

9:00 - 9:30  Group morning meeting / team building activity

9:30 - 11:30  Morning activity period

11:30 - 1:00   Lunch and outdoor recess

1:00 - 3:00   Afternoon activity period 

3:00 - 3:15   Quiet Story Time
3:15 - 3:30   Closing Circle

3:30              End of day Pickup
3:30 - 5:00  Extended Day

*Please note, we plan to take occasional walking field trips to nearby playgrounds, so early pick-ups must be communicated ahead of time. We will always be back on campus by 3 p.m.

 

 

You will be billed via FACTS shortly after registration. Your camp payment includes a $100 non-refundable deposit. 

All of the camps must meet minimum enrollment requirements. If a camp needs to be canceled, parents will be notified and receive a full refund.

For all other cancellations, the $100 deposit is non-refundable. If you wish to make changes to your summer camp registration, you may do so before May 15, 2022 and receive a refund minus the $100 deposit. We cannot issue refunds of any kind after May 15, 2022.
